A significant amount of development and testing work is required before usable products can be derived from research findings and demonstrators. Thanks to the Urs Endress Foundation, we have a solid foundation for the next steps. Additional funding or grants could further expedite our efforts. Meaningful additions to our current work include:

• Automated all-weather test fields for generating AI-training-compatible measurement data.

• Further integration of electronic components.

• Making the sensor system lighter and smaller, enabling its use in more cost-effective drone classes.

• Efforts to merge the results of our ground-penetrating sensors (GPSAR, metal detector) with surface sensor data (IR, camera)."
