FindMine Tests in Ukraine

In the last two weeks FindMine gGmbH has trained several deminers of the Fondation

Suisse de Déminage (FSD) in the use of a FindMine GPSAR-System (ground penetrating synthetic aperture radar system). The training was very successful and the FSD team has mastered using the rather complex and prototype-like system. They are now ready for performing field-tests in realistic sceneries in a􀆯ected areas in the Ukraine.

The FindMine gGmbH (www.findmine.org) is developing new technologies for UAV-based mine detection and is supported and financed by the Urs Endress Foundation (www.ue-stiftung.org). The field-test started with this training are supported by FSD (www.fsd.ch) and funding of the Swiss Government.
